BASSOON RESOURCES

The Weisberg System is a double-octave key system that eliminates the need for flicking while improving the pitch, tonal unevenness and preventing the cracking of the notes A2-D3 on the bassoon. It is currently in use in orchestras throughout the world and applauded by many of today's leading bassoonists.
The bassoonists of Desert Rose Reeds fully endorse the Weisberg system and believe that is is one of the most significant improvements in the bassoon in the last 100 years. We have it installed on our bassoons and use it in every performance. You can find out more information at this website: weisbergsystems.com
